ABOUT TOR CEFN
Tor Cefn Tea Rooms is a licensed traditional Tearoom/Cafe serving Morning coffee, brunches, lunches, traditional Afternoon Teas, Cream Teas since 2013. All our cakes are made here at Tor Cefn as far as possible our ingredients are locally sourced.
Our Milk comes from a dairy six miles away, our cheese comes from Canarth twenty miles away, pickles from Llandeilo.
We regularly cater for birthday parties, baby showers, weddings and aniversaries.

We are open Thursday to Sunday 10:30am til 5pm
We are Sandy and Andy Giles. Sandy, a classically trained chef, has worked at various establishments over the years in Gloucestershire, Sussex and Norfolk. Now she bring her skills to South West Wales. There's many great and good have enjoyed Sandy's culinary skills from Her Majesty the Queen to the Gloucester Rugby Team.
Andy has established several businesses over the years, a qualified tradesman has now left the building trade to join Sandy in our new venture.
Along with our two children we bring Treacle our black Labrador and Bella the cat from the Norfolk Broads to join the goats ducks and chickens we have inherited here at Tor Cefn in beautiful Camarthenshire countryside between the two branches of the Gwendraeth river just a mile from the summit of Mynydd Llangyndeyrn (Llangyndeyrn Mountain).
Since taking over the reigns at Tor Cefn we have received Restaurant Guru's 'Best Cafe' award three years in a row. We have been won the Prestige Award's 'Best Cafe Carmarthenshire' 2021/2022 and have just been notified we have won the same accolade for 22/23. We have also been nominated for the Good Food Award 2022. We are waiting fingers crossed for the result :-) thank you to everyone who voted for us.
